Andrew Linn is a composer and producer based in New York City, operating as AML Soundworks, Inc. Since 2017, he has collaborated with various partners such as Warner Chappell, RWS Global, Muse Storytelling, Soave Records, Hal Leonard Publishing, Carrtoons, Spyn Music, Disruptive Records, Seth Ferranti, Weedie Braimah, Angela Parrish, NandoSTL, Fifth Color Films, Studio Fontana, and Velvet Green Music, creating music for artists, labels, podcasts, media, and film. His music can be heard on platforms like Disney+, ABC, Hulu, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and more. He also produces laid-back beats under the alias East Junction, which have garnered over 2 million streams on major platforms.
Andrew holds a B.M. in Trumpet Performance from the University of Kansas, an M.M. in Jazz Studies from the University of Northern Colorado, and a certification in Producing Music for Film and Video Games from Berklee. His compositions and arrangements have been performed globally, including at the Montreux Jazz Festival and Jazz at Lincoln Center. Andrew has been commissioned by colleges across America to compose for various ensembles, including chamber, jazz, choir, and solo performances. He has also arranged music and produced/recorded instrumental accompaniments for Hal Leonard Publishing. Additionally, he worked as a Teaching Artist for The New York Pops for most of the 2010s.
In addition to music production, Andrew is active in audio post-production, serving as an engineer and editor for various podcasts, including Paraphrasis, The Big Think, Mission.org, The Generalist World, Courtside With Courtney, SmartHer News, Well/Behaved, and Stage Combat. He is a member of The Associated Musicians of Greater New York, The Society of Composers and Lyricists, ASCAP, and NRG.
